Kimberley our country home is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the South Hams of Devon. It is a small welcoming family run B&B, peacefully set in attractive gardens and surrounded by fields. We have stunning views over farmland to Bigbury Bay and Burgh Island.
Set on the edge of the village of Ringmore within easy walking distance of the local pub, an old church and pretty thatched cottages but within easy walking distance of the delightful Ayrmer Cove and the South West Coastal Path. The SWCP takes you to many beautiful sandy beaches at Wonwell, Challaborough and Bigbury-on-Sea or across to Burgh Island famous for its Sea Tractor and Agatha Christie’s hideaway. Our location is a peaceful haven for bird watching, water sports or walking our fabulous coastline.
The rooms are well furnished, light and spacious with comfy beds. A full breakfast menu (including a lighter option) is served in our large dining room.
We assure you of a warm welcome and relaxed stay. Our breakfasts are freshly cooked with best quality ingredients. A varied menu includes a choice of cereals, a fabulous fruit platter, traditional bacon and eggs or perhaps smoked salmon. We can also cater for vegetarian or special diets with notification.
We are happy to help with plans for walking the coastal path including ferries and tide times or any other local knowledge. Maps and brochures can be provided or suggestions for trips out. If you have a family wedding or event to attend in the vicinity, or you wish to visit the hotel on Burgh Island for a 1920’s dinner dance, we can help organise taxis for your return if needed.
Feel free to wander through our garden or sit and have a glass of wine or soft drink on our deck before setting out for the evening.
